Core drilling is a primary method for mineral resource exploration, with flushing fluid serving as the “lifeblood” of drilling operations. The performance of the fluid directly influences both drilling efficiency and core quality. This article systematically reviews the advancements in solid-liquid separation technology pertinent to core flushing fluids, analyzing the principles, advantages, and limitations associated with various technologies. Furthermore, it addresses current technical challenges and proposes future directions for solid-liquid separation technology development, aiming to provide valuable insights for scientific research and engineering practices in related fields.
