Prostate cancer patients commonly experience varying degrees of psychological distress throughout the diagnostic and treatment trajectory, which not only influences disease progression and prognosis but also impairs their quality of life. This review systematically synthesizes the current landscape of psychological distress in prostate cancer, encompassing assessment tools and influencing factors. By elucidating these dimensions, the study aims to furnish caregivers with evidence-based insights for tailored psychosocial interventions while offering a foundational reference for advancing future research in this domain.
