Abstract

The new era of university curriculum teaching requires the introduction of ideological and political elements. In this paper, we integrate ideological and political education into computer science courses, using Linux programming as a case study. Linux programming is based on the distribution version of the Linux operating system. Firstly, the main ideas and content of ideological and political education in the curriculum were outlined. Then, the basic course content, job positions, and demands of Linux operating system and program design were analyzed. Finally, it is proposed to integrate ideological and political elements into Linux programming courses, in order to enhance students' political awareness and values while imparting knowledge.
