Abstract

Belt and Road Initiative, proposed in 2013, aims to promote shared development and prosperity by enhancing economic cooperation and connectivity among countries along its route. Japan's Asahi Shimbun, as an influential media outlet, has provided extensive and in-depth coverage of the initiative. The newspaper emphasizes an international perspective, considering Belt and Road's impact on Japan, the Asia-Pacific region, and the broader global landscape. It offers a comprehensive and insightful analysis of this significant strategy.
