This paper explores the application of ecological landscape design in enhancing rural ecosystem health, maintaining biodiversity, and promoting sustainable community development by analyzing its theoretical foundation and practical strategies. The study emphasizes the importance of land use planning, water resource management, and native vegetation restoration in building eco-friendly rural environments. It also showcases successful applications of ecological landscape design in actual rural planning, providing both theoretical and practical references for future rural ecological landscape design.
